Senior Vice President, Compliance & Interim Compliance Officer
Kathleen Dwyer joined our organization in 2020 as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Appeals. In this new role, Kathleen will work with her team to ensure our documentation process meets or exceeds quality standards, oversee internal audits, and handle the appeal process.
Her experience in therapy management has included positions as Director of Therapy, Regional Director of Operations, Director of Operations, and Executive Vice President in long-term care. Throughout her career she has achieved specialty certifications in Hand Therapy, and the Resident Assessment Coordinator, which designates her as an expert in the skilled nursing facility prospective payment system and the minimum data set assessment. She is also certified in Healthcare Compliance and belongs to the American Occupational Therapy Association and The Health Care Compliance Association.
An Occupational Therapist by training, Kathleen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. She and her husband reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
