Vice President, Clinical Services and Compliance
Lana has been a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for 19 years and has experience in therapy leadership management across service lines. Her primary focus has been in Long Term Care. Lana has been involved in leadership roles surrounding compliance, quality assurance and clinical programming. Lana has also participated in OHCA as well as KAHCF-KCALin a presenter role.
Currently Lana serves as Vice President of Clinical and Compliance within the company. She is responsible for oversight of the Clinical Services department devising strategies and plans for clinical education and support according to company standards for excellent services and growth. She also has oversight of the Compliance Department to ensure and advise the CCO of potential compliance risks and to set the standard for appropriate and clinically driven patient care. Lana works directly with CCO to improve the processes for these departments and set strategic goals through analysis and collaboration.
Lana is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and a graduate of Kent State University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Lana completed her Clinical Fellowship year at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She holds the ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence and is also Vital-Stim certified for Neuromuscular Rehab in management of Dysphagia. Additionally, she is a certified Dementia Care Specialist Trainer, through Crisis Prevention Institute.
